Improve Memory

National Geographic’s Brain Games TV Show

I’m not one to spend a lot of time watching TV, unless of course it’s some form of sports. However, I just found out about this show called Brain Games on National Geographic.

Brain Games is a show that’s all about the brain and ways that we can be fooling our brain in our everyday lives. This show is one of the most up-to-date shows on the topic of the brain and how our brain functions.

It’s amazing the ways that our brain’s play tricks on us. You may be familiar with a few of the games that they go through on the videos below, but there are many of the games that I had never thought about or would have ever even considered.

In part 2, you can see hear some examples of how your brain can play tricks on you. It’s amazing to see how much our brains rely on our eyes to help us understand what is happening during certain situations.

I don’t want to confuse you with a bunch of brain terms, so I just want to share with you the videos and hopefully peak your interest in learning more about the brain and how you can use the brain to benefit your life in a positive way.

Christmas Gifts That Train Your Brain

It’s that time of year again!

The Holidays are upon us and it’s time that we all start thinking about gifts to give our family and friends.

As you know already, we love helping people like yourself learn better and improve their brains. With this in mind, I wanted to create a post that was all about good gifts that will train your brain. This post will share some inexpensive gifts that you can give to others that will help make them a better person.

Desk Calendars

Desk Calendars are great gifts because they continue to give new information each day for an entire year. Every day you get a new tip or trick to help train your brain. These are great for anyone who has a desk and likes to know what day it is. (hint: everyone!)

“I buy this as a gift for my husband every Christmas. He absolutely loves this calendar. He thoroughly enjoys all the ‘brain’ puzzles. It nice that you can give someone a gift that lasts the whole year through. And of course it is always so easy to purchase from Amazon – timely service every time. Thank You Amazon – continue to do what you do!!!”

Brain Video Games

Who would have ever thought that video games could be good for training your brain?

Nintendo DS has come up with a great game that will help you train your brain in minutes a day.

The Brain Age 2 game could be an excellent gift if you know someone who has a Nintendo DS already and wants to start training their brain. This would be a great gift for younger kids as well as anyone who wants unconventional gifts to improve their brain and memory.

The Gift Of Language

Learning a new language is one of the best ways to train your brain and keep your memory from disappearing. By challenging your brain to learn a new language, you are making yourself smarter and exercising your brain. This will help improve your memory and will also give you the opportunity to meet and chat with people who you never would have been able to if you could only speak english.

There are many languages available and Rosetta Stone is by far the best choice for learning a new language.

Languages available:
Spanish
French
Italian
-Many Many More…

These are all gifts that will benefit your brain and are fairly inexpensive gifts when you think about the value of your brain. The more you take care of your brain, the better life you will live.

Roger Craig Dominates Jeopardy Using Brain Power

Roger Craig is a computer scientist and he built an application that allowed him to power study his way through thousands of old Jeopardy questions. This application basically programmed his brain to remember information that would be relevant to Jeopardy and questions that are likely to be asked again.

Check out how he did it:
